Potential litigation

Present: Scott Jenssen, Chair of the Select Board, Jonathan Sylbert, Select Board member, Wayne Burkhart, Select Board member, Melissa Noe secretary to the Board and Jeremia Pollard, Town Counsel
Roll call was taken by the Chair. All Select Board members were present. A motion was made by to go into executive session, seconded, and approved unanimously. The Board agreed that they would return to an open session. Open session was resumed at 5:56pm.
Items discussed:
- Stencel violation; The Stencel’s attorney requested to be on the Select Board agenda tonight to make the pitch that the statute of limitations has passed. Jeremia called Attorney Vallianos and explained that it would be a waste of his time and the Board’s time to discuss this as it wasn’t applicable. He did suggest that a boundary line agreement be looked at. He asked the Board’s permission to write a letter to that effect to Attorney Vallianos.
- Potential litigation: Mandatory retirement ages and the pension laws.
At 5:56pm W. Burkhart called this meeting to a close and it was seconded by J. Sylbert and unanimously approved by the board.
